This is a relight of the ICVFX Production Test from the unreal market place done for The Art of Lighting for Games course at CGMA. This scene was lit using nanite/lumen workflows.
My Instructor for this course was Andrew Prince who is a very talented lighting artist.

The reference images were sourced from Shotdeck.com.
My goal was to match the feel and mood of the reference images that I had gathered in a way that would allow my lighting to guide the player to the building in the cave. I wanted to focus more on guiding a player with light and silhouette like in my reference images.
This scene was meant for VFX and not games so I had to fix a ton of floating geo in order to get shots from multiple angles.
Overall I am happy with the result for the time invested.
